Contradictions (Part II)

Life went on,
and with the slight remains
of the cloud I was sailing on
it allowed me to
           (rationalize)
overlook a certain period of
time
and come to the conclusion
that Life hadn't been cruel
           (to me)

Merciful...
Me... a wandering soul
           (unexperienced)
going through what I then
called Life
had still somuch to
           (experience)
learn and take notice of

Contradictions...
Looking back it makes me
wonder how I could
           (experience)
because the same Life
that is now so open to me
had set out boundaries to
           (imprison)
limit my space

Merciful...
Unexperienced as I
           (wandering soul)
was
I refused to see
that I was held
           (captured)
from making the
           (THE!)
wrong choice and
thus losing Life itself.
Then came you...
Contradictions...
What gave Life the
           (right)
possibility to wipe out
           (me)
my experience of happiness
What gave Life the
           (possibility)
right to leave me
with only one choice
           (you)

Merciful
Life understood that I was
ready to take a next step,
to improve the contents of
my Existence

Then came you

Life? What happened to Life?
Life changed...
Life became...

           YOU!
A period of time bridged
A period of time that Life
           (YOU!!)
allowed me to get used
to the idea that what I
thought WAS,
           was no longer
A period of time that Life
           (YOU!!)
allowed me to get used
to the idea that everything
           (existence)
was going to change forever.
Contradictions?
Oh no!! Merciful!!
How blind can someone
           (I)
be? For walking right into Life
           (YOU!!)
and not seeing?
Thank you, Life
           (YOU!!)

Merciful...
You've given me a chance
to show you
           (my)
love,
You've given me a chance
to care
           (for you)
You've given me THE chance

Merciful
What can I do
to repay a debt
so big'
I need a Lifetime —
or maybe the rest
of my Existence
           to show (you)
that I'm worth of
the chance that
           YOU!!
gave me.

Therefore

I promise to live Life
           (YOU!!)
to the depth of my Soul
