The reason for why we think stars are a promise of hope is because they are like small holes in the black sky where the celestial light of the infinite life and existence shines through.
People look up to the stars to find the answer but they don't realize that inside us all lives a little star of our own. This star is called the soul, the spirit, the innermost of us. Put everyone's stars together and you'll have the infinite existence.
Some tribes believe that stars are the hearths of people who have passed away. A hearth is also a fire of the soul, the heart of home and the place where people tell stories, stories of life.
