Wouldn't it be nice with an idea-o-matic? Insert a coin, choose an idea or pick "random", and thump, out comes a new, refreshing idea, the dish of the day. Maybe it would be nice, maybe it would be just our laziness? From this moment on, I swear I will try to keep my inner idea-o-matic awake. In the long run it will also stay more cheap, not requiring any coins to insert before I can enjoy a new, thrilling idea. Underneath are some ideas and thoughts that I've wanted to save and not to forget.

If we (soon) can create organs in vitro to save the health of thousands of people, why can't we create leather, skin and fur in vitro, to save the lives of millions of fur animals? Besides, a fur coat made out of only a couple of huge pieces looks better than a patched thing.

Boys experiencing sex for the first time never "lose virginity", like girls. They always "gain manliness". Why does one part have to take when the other one loses? I oppose!

Women see a relationship in many phases. One of the first phases is the formation of unity, the transformation of me + you to WE. Yes, WE can come to visit you tomorrow. WE this and WE that. They seem to lose part of their individuality, whereas men keep to ME and YOU. I admit I can get annoyed if I am not taken into consideration under WE, even if individuality is very important for me...

In earlier days men seduced women. They made "the weaker sex" lose control and submit to the arms of the seducer. This required no direct physical power from the man, only the skill to make women feel dizzy of attraction. Today, a modern woman is strong. She is an individualist with her own will. She is no longer easy to seduce. Perhaps the loss of the power of attracting women has made men prone to gain control of the situation in another way = by rape?

I do not easily believe in absolute truths. I believe everyone lives in a subjective world. However, I do think those worlds are connected to one big network of existence.
So, if truth is subjective, how can someone be an Atheist or a true religious believer? That would mean an either-or situation, unless we all choose the truth we like best.
Which is more difficult to deal with: for an Atheist to learn that there really is a god, or for a believer to learn that no god exists? A safe way to play would be to be an Agnostic, but quoting Douglas Adams: "If it turns out that I've been wrong all along, and there is in fact a god, and if it further turned out that this kind of legalistic, cross-your-fingers-behind-your-back, Clintonian hairsplitting impressed him, then I think I would choose not to worship him anyway".

Isn't it interesting that the first (and most widely known) story of creation in Genesis accounts for the creation of the world in the same order as scientists do? First there was light (big bang), then day and night (Earth revolving around the Sun). Earth was first empty, after which it was filled with plants, animals, and humans, in that specific order.

Suppose life on earth came from a collision of a meteor, or smaller particles, carrying organisms?

Christian, Jewish and Moslem views of life are linear: souls are created and they go somewhere after we die. Buddha, Hindue, Taoist and other eastern religions have a circular view of life: souls have always existed, and after reaching enlightment they cease to exist as individuals and merge, becoming one big Existence.
My question:
If matter is energy and souls are another form of energy, the constant creation of souls draws the universe into an imbalance, where energy flows from matter to souls. When our universe is nearly infinitely old we are going to be running out of matter. The world as we know it will disappear, just like in Michael Ende's The Neverending Story.
Answer: the only possible way for us to exist is because of a cyclic universe — reincarnation and constant amount of matter and energy. That way no new souls are created, and we all are infinitely old.

They say about 80% of the universe is so-called dark matter, matter between stars that cannot be detected directly, only through other particles that in their behavior indicate the existence of dark matter.
— Suppose that matter is soul-energy?

God according to Christianity sounds very egoistic to me: "I love you and I am merciful, but if you don't love me back you can go straight to hell".
